Folks like filipesims are basically making fanart map screens for neighborhoods they d like to be able to put into the game not taking screenshots of anything that you could install and play with.

Yes i have already tried a new save tried without any mods and verified the game files. The worlds in the sims 4 are very detailed and beautifully designed but unfortunately not the maps. I think it makes the whole world look so much more alive and connected.
I really wish they could remake old town neighbourhood 1 from the sims 1 at some point in the sims 4. It is developed by maxis and published by electronic arts. This is fanart it s so beautiful.
Sims 4 mods not working. Can you imagine having these world maps become a reality in the game. This only happens with the brindleton bay map when trying to open the world in a new or old save.
For some time now the simmer and artist noirsims aka filipe marcel has been working on his own fanarts for the most famous worlds from the sims 4 and his results are absolutely fabulous. Important details are missing and the arrangement of some things does not make sense. As far as i know map tools aren t available for the sims 4 so it is literally impossible for modders to make new neighborhoods that you can play in the game.
So i ve been trying the last days to get all maps working again. From there select the maps of your choice download them from simfileshare and extract them to electronic arts the sims 4 mods folder. Its just a white screen in the image shown with no way to get out of it and no matter how long i wait nothing.
I also really like that diamond crest map. These map replacements work beautifully in the game and co operate really well with the lot spaces as you can see in the screen below. The game was initially launched for windows os but its support was also extended to macos a while later.
It is very nice to see some nostalgic maps from the sims 1 2 and 3 in sims 4 style. I m happy to announce that you can download the updated version of the fanart maps now. Make sure that you ve enabled mods cc in your game options.
